Course overview
Criminal Thinking Errors includes a level of cognitive restructuring identifying triggers, cues, and a build up of self talk and thoughts that justify criminal behaviors. Changing the story we tell ourselves to justify the criminal behavior creates a more positive emotional outcome. SAMHSA identifies two successful cognitive restructuring modalities. These are taught through best practice adult learning implementation and passed off face to face by a EAC Education Specialist or Counselor. Level 1 is a 4 hour class taught online. This course is DHS certified and is recognized by Utah Courts as a legitimate Level 1 Thinking Errors Course.
